Currently on maternity leave till December 2024.

Jessica graduated with honours from the massage therapy program at Georgian College in 2022 and is now a registered massage therapist with the CMTO. Before that, she was a personal trainer with eight years plus experience.

As a trainer, Jessica saw many clients who suffered from chronic pain, muscle tension, decreased mobility, etc., and she had a desire to further assist them. After doing some research and seeing the benefits of massage therapy firsthand, she knew that continuing her education and becoming a registered massage therapist, was how she could best help. Jessica now combines her personal training experience with her massage therapy knowledge to create the best plan of care for her clients. These plans include a thorough assessment, personalized outcome-based massages, and providing home care. During the massage treatments, she uses a variety of techniques, including hydrotherapy, stretching, and fascial and deep tissue work.

Jessica and her husband moved to the Georgian Bay area in 2019 and are currently living in Wasaga Beach with their two dogs. They are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first child.

Jessica is currently on maternity leave but will be returning part-time in December 2024. In the meantime, Asta Jokub will be covering for her.

Kim Ball is a compassionate, open-hearted Clinical Somatic Educator who is committed to helping humans move better, feel better and live better. For years I searched for something that would reduce stress, relieve pain, and improve mobility and strength. On the journey of my own healing, I discovered that Clinical Somatics (in the tradition of Thomas Hanna) was the missing link for me. Clinical Somatics is a movement-based therapy that asks us to observe from within those areas of our body where we feel the freedom of movement and those areas where we feel restricted due to chronic tension. Working from the center of the body – the core – we begin to release the large muscles through a sequence of safe and gentle movements. These movements are based on a series of patterns that are seen in the body. These patterns are strong reflexes that are “hard-wired” into the sensory-motor nervous system. Through developing awareness of the brain-to-muscle connection, Clinical Somatic Education helps you to release tension, and also anger, frustration, and other emotions that we may accumulate in our body just by living and moving through life! The goal is to help free you from the stress and pain that are preventing you from fully engaging in your life. Somatics teaches me every day to let go of what is not serving me well. It helps build confidence, renew a sense of self and reclaim personal empowerment by learning to move more freely, with less restriction. I am passionate about helping others reclaim the power of their own body and discover that there is no end to self-improvement. The goal is to help free you from the stress and pain that are preventing you from fully engaging in your life.
